Frank Federer

Principal, Padgett Performance Group

imageFrank has over thirty years of senior management experience. He has been a CEO for start-up and small growth-companies as well as 75 year old US and international publicly held corporations. He has also consulted with dozens of companies to help build value through the development of people and organizations. His experience includes a wide range of industries including the highly regulated medical, aviation and food manufacturing segments.

As a CEO, Frank learned that all problems were people problems. He sought tools to help him build strong teams, but was disappointed by everything he tried. When he used the Harrison Assessment, he realized that he had finally found the right tool. He also discovered the PhD-designed tools developed by Impact Achievement Group and again knew he was on to something. Frank joined the Padgett Performance Group in 2006.

Frank is both a change agent and a consensus builder. He has led companies through challenging circumstances by getting the right people in the right jobs and letting them excel.

More About Frank

Frank holds a multiengine commercial pilot license and instructor rating. His experiences as a flight instructor taught him lessons that have proven invaluable in business:

1) Telling people what to do is not teaching.

2) You learn more when things go wrong than when they go right.

3) The instructor was not successful unless their students do it right when the instructor is not there.

4) Doing it right has more to do with reasoning and judgment than with memorization and rote -- it is also infinitely more difficult to impart.

5) Learning is continuous -- or you have not really learned anything.
